About Us
Our mission is to provide Vermont residents, community organizations, and other partners with easy access to important resources and materials for substance use programs and campaigns.
Through this platform, you can order free resources on substance use prevention, harm-reduction, treatment and recovery to help spread awareness and promote health and safety across the state.
We are proud to offer a variety of resources for the following public health initiatives:
Vermont Helplink
VT Helplink is the only statewide, public resource to connect those seeking substance use and harm reduction help for themselves, loved ones, and clients to information and resources. Helplink services are free and confidential.
Parent Up VT
ParentUp is dedicated to helping Vermont parents equip kids to handle life’s challenges. This program provides tools, resources, and information on how to access support for teen alcohol or substance misuse, addiction and dependency, and mental or emotional wellness.
Parent Up VT empowers parents and caregivers with the resources they need to have open, honest conversations with their children about substance use. By promoting healthy choices and positive behavior, Parent Up VT aims to reduce youth substance misuse and build stronger, healthier communities. ParentUpVT.org
Know OD
Know OD is a campaign designed to educate Vermont residents about the dangers of opioid overdose and how to prevent it. Know OD spreads awareness about overdose risks to encourage Vermonters to take proactive steps - like carrying naloxone - and provides valuable information about harm reduction.
Aging and Substance Use
Through educational materials and resources, this initiative works to reduce the stigma around substance use in aging populations and offer guidance to both seniors and caregivers.
One More Conversation
One More Conversation aims to reduce the harmful effects of substance use during pregnancy through ongoing, supportive dialogue. Whether you’re a parent, friend, or community leader, this campaign encourages you to have one more conversation with someone about their health, substance use, and well-being.
Let’s Talk Cannabis
Let’s Talk Cannabis is an educational campaign providing science-based information to increase awareness about cannabis and how it affects our bodies, minds and health. The campaign provides information on the health and developmental risks of use among youth or people who are pregnant, prevention tips and how to access help.
Do Your Part
Do Your Part promotes safely storing and disposing of unwanted medications through drop-off kiosks and mail-back disposal envelopes, and participation in National Prescription Drug Take-Back each April and October.
